We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions families ask when considering VLC. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, our Admissions Team will be happy to guide you further.
The fee structure is divided into two sections: the admission package and the tuition fee with annual charges. You will be guided in detail once you are invited to our campus for an in-person meeting.
Our admission cycle begins in September of the year before the academic year starts. Currently, we are accepting applications for the academic year starting August 2026. Families wishing to enrol for the current session may be invited to meet based on seat availability, with timelines followed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The best way to notify us of your interest is by submitting your CV through our careers portal. If you don’t hear back, you may also email us at hr@vlc.org.pk with your cover letter and the position title.
At VLC, our admissions process is a thoughtful journey, one that allows us to understand each child’s unique spirit while helping families experience the values that define our community. Submitting an application is the first step, but it does not guarantee admission. The process typically includes information sessions, interviews and/or observations with our team. These are opportunities for us to get to know your child, and for you to see how our approach to learning aligns with your hopes. Invitations for these stages are extended according to space and intake timelines.
We currently have campuses in PECHS, DHA, and Clifton. If you’d like us to explore a location closer to you, we’d love to hear from you.
Children aged 1.4 years to 2.3 years by August of the joining year qualify for Playgroup. That said, VLC believes every child learns at their own pace. Our team will guide you on the best way forward after meeting with you.
The age of enrolment is a deeply personal choice for each family. Some families prefer an earlier start in Playgroup or Pre-Nursery, while others wait until Nursery or Prep. The aim is always to provide love, emotional and physical safety, and a nurturing environment where children can connect, grow, and thrive.
BabySnap is our premium mom-and-toddler program that focuses on pre-school milestones before children begin full-time school. It also gives parents a chance to experience a rich sensory, physical, and emotionally engaging journey with their child as they prepare for independence.
We wouldn’t call it a priority, but the process is definitely easier for families already part of the community.
As a standard policy, VLC does not offer discounts or waivers. However, as an inclusive school, we are always open to conversations to explore how learning can be an opportunity for families rather than a cost.
English is the primary medium of instruction, while we also respect and actively practise cultural and linguistic diversity.
Early Years: 1:6
As children progress, ratios gradually increase to 1:7, 1:8, and ultimately 1:12 by Elementary.
At the moment, VLC does not offer a van service, except for a shuttle running between Clifton and DHA for siblings.
For families moving back to Karachi, the process is very similar: applications are submitted online. Our team ensures scheduling is hassle-free, and if you arrive after the recommended joining date, we can explore conditional offers so you don’t have to worry about losing a seat.
VLC begins with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework from England, and later incorporates Oxford AQA for GCSEs and A-levels. What truly sets us apart is how we teach — through our SNAP and STAMP approaches, grounded in mental health and a whole-child philosophy.
Playgroup begins with a 2.5-hour school day, with timings gradually increasing at every grade level as children grow.
Yes, VLC offers a wide range of after-school activities such as gymnastics, taekwondo, roller skating, foreign languages, swimming, and more. These programmes evolve on a rolling basis, based on the interests of our community.
